Do I really need a water softener?

If you see white scale, soap scum, or feel dry skin and hair, you likely have hard water. Most regions in Canada do.

How do I choose the right size?

Match capacity to bathrooms and people. Our product cards include clear guidance. Use the quiz if you are unsure.

Is installation included?

We offer professional installation through licensed local plumbers. Most installs are straightforward. If anything outside a standard install is needed, you’ll get a clear quote first.

Salt-based or salt-free — what is the difference?

Salt-based softeners remove hardness minerals for true soft water. Salt-free systems condition minerals to reduce scale. Salt-free is lower maintenance; the “feel” is different.

I have city water. Do I need chlorine removal?

If you notice taste or odor, pair a carbon filter or choose a mixed-media option that handles chlorine.

I have a private well. What about iron or sulfur?

Rust stains or rotten-egg smell indicate iron or hydrogen sulfide. Add iron or sulfur filtration before the softener for best results.

What maintenance is required?

Salt-based softeners need periodic salt refills. Filters have scheduled media or cartridge changes. We provide a simple care guide with every install.

How long does installation take?

Most installs take 2–3 hours. We coordinate a day and time that works for you.

What warranties do you provide?

Tanks and valves carry multi-year warranties, and electronics typically carry one year. Details are listed on each product page.

Can I finance my purchase?

Monthly payment options may be available at checkout.

Do you remove old equipment?

Yes, ask during scheduling, and we will include it in the visit.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes. We support you after installation with parts, media, and friendly help.
